Where’s Lucky? A Children’s Program About Pet Loss
Jewish Community Services offers this program for children ages 8-12 who have recently lost a pet. The book, “Dear Brave Friend” by Leigh Ann Gerk, helps children understand their many feelings of grief over their beloved pet’s death. In this program, we will read the book and then create a memory rock to remind us of the forever connection we have to our special friend. Facilitated by Donna Kane, JCS grief clinician. Program and craft supplies are free. Registration is required. 7-8 p.m.; online; free; register here.
