Community Wellness Day
This free fall health and resource fair will take place at Park Elementary School in South Baltimore at 10 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m. Take advantage of free health screenings, education tables and more. Flu shots will be available for those ages 3 and up. Hungry Harvest boxes and “to go” boxed lunches will be available while supplies last. The wellness fair will also feature face-painting and other activities for children.

Mindful Art With a Purpose for Adults 60+
Join other adults in the community for a free, five-part online series on Wednesday afternoons. Jewish Community Services invites adults who are 60 and older to experiment with creative self-expression to enhance their mental well-being as well as to encourage healing. This series will continue on Oct. 26; and Nov. 2, Nov. 9 and Nov. 16, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. via Zoom.

YAD Collectives Kick-Off Happy Hour
The Associated’s Young Adult Division is kicking off its Collective interest groups at the Union Craft Brewery in Baltimore. Participants will have the chance to meet like-minded people interested in similar issues and to network professionally. This event is geared for members of the Jewish community ages 22 to 39.

Reigniting Passion: Infusing Meaning & Preventing Burnout in a Post-Pandemic World
Learn how to combat work- and home-induced burnout with speaker David Shar, president and founder of Illuminate PMC. This talk will cover the driving forces behind burnout and overcoming negativity bias while avoiding toxic positivity. The hour-long event will take place from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.
