8th Annual Arts in the Park festival
The 8th annual Arts in the Park festival will feature live performances and more than 40 artists and community vendors, art workshops for all ages, food trucks and more family fun. The event will be held in front of Hammonds Lane Theatre. The festival will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 3 p.m.

Family Storytime
The Enoch Pratt Free Library invites families with children ages 3 to 5 years old of all levels of ability to enjoy stories, movement, songs and rhymes together at their free family storytime event at noon on Oct. 11., October 13
Harvest Music Fest: A Celebration of Sukkot
Join the JCC for a Sukkot celebration complete with family entertainment, music, an inflatable playground, bubbles, balloons, face-painting and other activities. Attendees can bring their own dinner or purchase a kosher meal from Chef Dan’s Café. This free event starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m. at 3506 Gwynbrook Ave., Owings Mills, Md.

Community Potluck Shabbat in the Sukkah with Songs by Norm Hogeland
Join Congregation Beit Tikvah for a community potluck meal, including vegetarian or dairy Shabbat dinner dishes for Sukkot with songs by Norm Hogeland. This event, which will take place in the sukkah (of course!) begins at 7:30 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Register at:

Annual HeBrOpen Golf Outing
This annual fundraiser for the External Opportunities Program at the SEED School of Maryland will include a golf tournament; pickleball clinic and tournament; reception and dinner featuring a keynote address from Willie Mays Aikens, whose life inspired the book “Safe at Home” and the 2022 film “The Royal.” The event takes place at the Green Spring Valley Hunt Club, beginning at 11 a.m.
