On June 10, Martin Irving Collins of Sarasota, Fla. at 100. He was a World War II veteran, graduate of Baltimore City College and graduate of the University of Maryland College Park. He had just celebrated his 100th birthday, with amazing parties surrounded by his loving family and many close friends. He had a wonderful past four years in his retirement community with the best caregivers and staff. He felt so loved. He stayed active and engaged. Always exercising, always socializing, always enjoying life. He did always live life to the fullest! With a good sense of humor, great smile, his laugh was contagious. He is survived by his wife Iris Collins (nee Sachs) and children Barbara Collins, Reuven and Yaffa Collins and family in Israel, Larry and Shelley Collins and family in Baltimore. He felt very blessed to have 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, so far. Also survived by Pat Sachs, David and Cyndi Sachs and family, Lisa and Lori May-Sachs, Steve and Cheryl Greenberg and Ron and Emily Yaffe. He was predeceased by his parents Ida (nee Scheinman) and Louis Cohen.
