The Secrets to Successful Supervision
Work with other Jewish communal professionals and learn practical skills, personal reflection, and networking and relationship-building methods with this free Zoom event. The workshop will last from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It will cover topics like priority setting, accountability and constructive feedback. The event will be led by leadership coach Maya Dolgin. The Mischlinge Exposé
Join the Baltimore Jewish Council at the Park Heights JCC in the Community Room for a free evening event of storytelling through music. During this performance, Carolyn Enger, a pianist and descendant of Holocaust survivors, will perform her project. She will share her family’s history during World War II and discuss the Mischlinge designation. How to Create an Inclusive Environment
Learn about key terms, current research and the identified best practices for embracing a diverse workforce with Tiffany Lange, PsyD, LCP, MS, MA and clinical psychologist. The goal of this training is to teach relevant diversity and inclusion terminology and definitions, as well as enable participants to identify ways to improve cultural awareness and promote an inclusive environment at work. The event will take place via Zoom from 10 a.m. to noon. It is sponsored by Jewish Community Services (JCS) and qualifies for continuing-education credits for social workers. Learn skills and techniques for communicating with spouses and partners, as well as tools for setting priorities, with this free-to-attend Zoom discussion led by JCS professional, Jacki Ashkin, LCSW-C. As couples spend more time apart and out of the house after the pandemic, it’s important to focus on communicating effectively.
