The Baltimore Zionist District welcomed the Tzofim (Israel Scouts) for several days of music and Israeli fun. The teens — dressed in scouting garb and armed with microphones, stellar voices and killer dance moves — traveled through the area bringing the Israeli spirit to young and old.
The Tzofim traveling program is an Israeli youth program dedicated to strengthening relationships between Israel and North American Jewry.
Founded in 1919, the Tzofim was the first Zionist youth movement in Israel. Today, the Tzofim is the only official National Youth Movement in the country. It was the first egalitarian scouting movement in the world, where boys and girls participate
together on an equal basis.
