On January 24, David Levitas of Delray Beach, Fla., at 100. He is survived by wife of 77 years Mae Levitas (née Needleman); children Alan (Tami) Levitas, Sharon (Robert Ullman) Glidden and Howard (Lori) Levitas; Zayde to Michelle (Raul) Medina, Jeffrey (Irene) Glidden and Eric Levitas. He was predeceased by his brother Benjamin (Bucky) (late Rose) Levitas; his sister Ethel (late Sam) Cooper; and his mother Bessie Levitas. David was a World War II hero, POW and Purple Heart recipient.
