On March 30, Freda Lois Dunn (née Hoffman) in her sleep at her own home in Baltimore. She is survived by her sons Mark David Steinberg (Debra Lynn Might) and Scott Richard Steinberg (Treva Zyna); brother Arthur Hoffman; and sister-in-law Rita Hoffman.
Her brother Burt Hoffman predeceased her. She lived in Baltimore for most of her life but for about 10 years in Westchester County, N.Y., in the 1960s and ‘70s. She had
worked as an executive administrative assistant at Westchester Rockland
Newspapers in New York, as well as at Mt. Sinai Hospital
in Baltimore. She was a member of Baltimore Hebrew
Congregation. She was a passionate supporter of, and donor to, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and a subscriber to numerous Greater Baltimore Theatre Associations.
Donations may be made in her name to either Baltimore
Hebrew Congregation or the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
