Edward Schmetz, of Montgomery Village, MD, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, at the age of 82.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beth Schmetz (nee Schefflin); loving children, Jay (Charese) Schmetz and Stephanie (Ari) Casper; dear brother, Stanley Schmetz; loving grandchildren, Kayla (Noam) Gross, Alliza (Eliyahu) Spilman, Eva Casper, Ella Casper, Shoshana Casper, Ben Casper, Bee Schmetz, Dawson Schmetz and Dylan Schmetz; adored great grandchildren, Nate Gross and Moshe Spilman.
He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Irving and Bea Schmetz. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the charity of your choice.
