The Federation of Jewish Women’s Organizations of Maryland 109th Annual Convention
The theme of this event is “Legal Aspects Affecting the Future of Women.” The morning session will be a business meeting and presentation of the E.B. Hirsh Lifetime Achievement Award to Nancy Kohn Rabin, community leader. The afternoon session will be a lunch catered by the Knish Shop. The keynote speaker will be Katie Curran O’Malley, chief executive officer, Women’s Law Center of Maryland. The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation.

Chai Rolling for Hadassah
Hadassah of Greater Baltimore is celebrating a chai rolling for Hadassah event. The event will feature a casino night, silent auction and delicious food provided by the Knish Shop.
The honoree is State Senator Shelly Hettleman. The cost is $100. Net proceeds will support the Gandel Rehabilitation Center in Israel. The event will run from 5 to 8:30 p.m. and the address is provided after registration.

Beth Am Community Concert
Beth Am of Baltimore is celebrating 50 years as an active member of the Reservoir Hill community as Beth Am congregants and their neighborhood partners come together for a concert featuring award-winning jazz artist Lafayette Gilchrist, his full 10-piece ensemble and a special guest, Baltimore rapper Eze Jackson.
