On January 4, Eileen Rock (née Chadrow) of Pikesville at 79. She is survived by daughter Sharon Kovens (Paul) Roseman; nieces Karen Chadrow and Melissa Becker; and nephews Michael Chadrow, Steven Kovens, Scott Kovens and Brian Kovens. She was predeceased by husbands Harry Rock and Harold Blyweiss; son Jeffrey David Kovens; brother Jordan Chadrow; and parents Mary and Maurice Chadrow.

Eileen was born in Baltimore, where she lived her entire life, and attended Forest Park High School.

She worked as a Medical and Optical Office Assistant for different doctors over the years; was a commercial artist for A&A Vending in the 1980s; and the owner/artist of Astro Art Gallery and Gifts in the 1970s. She absolutely loved helping people and making them smile.

Eileen acquired many hobbies over the years, some of which include creating cartoon art of family and coworkers, graphic mural painting, reading mysteries, playing slot machines, raising Shih Tzu puppies and jitterbug dancing. She also loved cruising the Caribbean and vacationing in Aruba.

She was a beautiful person with an amazing sense of humor and will be most remembered for her ability to make people laugh. She will be dearly missed.
