On December 7, Elaine S. Katz (née Skurnik) of Thousand Oaks, Calif., at 93. She is survived by children Karen (Barry) Lewy and Steven (Stephanie) Katz, as well as six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Horace J. Katz; son Jan Alan Katz; and parents Charles Skurnik and Minnie Cohen Skurnik.
