​An interactive presentation exploring key definitions of race and gender as they have shifted and evolved in the afterlife of chattel slavery. We then utilize these definitions as a foundation to examine systemic barriers to fair housing for Black women, including but not limited to disenfranchisement, misogynoir, sexual harassment and domestic violence.​​​ Presented by Dr. Kara Hunt from the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights. Registration closes one hour before the start of the program. A valid email address is needed at registration to send a Zoom link to the program 30 minutes before scheduled start.
