​As author and activist Angela Davis said, “In a racist society, it is not enough to be non-racist. We must be anti-racist.” Join us for a book discussion around issues of racial justice. This month, Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Presented in partnership with the Maryland Lynching Memorial Project, an organization that works to advance the cause of reconciliation in our state by documenting the history of racial terror lynchings, advocating for public acknowledgment of these murders and working to honor and dignify the lives of the victims.
