Like many others, the scrap industry has been a primarily male-led profession for most of its history, although a growing number of women have joined the field. Women in scrap and other male-dominated industries face countless challenges. In honor of the centennial of the passage of the 19th amendment, join us to reflect on the progress that has been made towards gender equality and the barriers that persist with women from a variety of male-dominated professions.
