The Coronavirus Pandemic is fueling America’s loneliness epidemic. According to SocialPro’s survey of 1,228 people ages 18 to 75 predominantly living in English-speaking countries, at least 20% of respondents from each age group polled were lonelier than usual as a result of coronavirus. Isolation and social distancing have left many people in search of greater connectivity and meaningful self-improvement.

The Florence Melton School of Jewish Learning works to give people a sense of community through engaging online courses on topics that promote discovery and growth amid the challenging times presented.

On February 11, Melton School is hosting a special FREE course on Facebook Live: “On the Horizon”: How is COVID-19 a Defining Jewish Moment?
The class will be the final session in Director Yael Weinstein’s “History on a Precipice: Judaism’s Defining Moments” course. You do not have to have attended any prior sessions to join and all are welcome!

The course will be streamed via Facebook Live on Melton’s page:
