Baltimore County Public Library Virtual Event
This presentation uses sound clips from some of radio’s best known mystery and horror programs, including Escape, Inner Sanctum and Lights Out, to illustrate how radio could truly be a “Theater of the mind” and use music, voices and sounds to create indelible — and often frightening — “pictures.” Presented by Steve Darnell, writer, radio historian and the host of “Radio’s Golden Age” and “Those Were the Days.” Registration closes one hour before the start of the program. A valid email address is needed at registration to send a Zoom link to the program 30 minutes before scheduled start.
