On May 29, Yetta H. Farber (née Haber) of Fair Lawn, N.J., at 95. She is survived by children Dr. Susan (David) Straus and Marilyn Farber; grandchildren Rebecca Straus Farber (Evan Farber) and Emily Straus Bastow (Zach Bastow); great-grandchildren Charlotte Farber, Eli Farber, Eliza Bastow and Matilda Bastow. She was predeceased by husband Hy Farber; siblings Harold Haber and Morton Haber; and parents Rose and Toby Haber. She was an exceptional teacher and a New Jersey Teacher of the Year. She was especially proud of a first prize award for an essay she wrote about her first year of teaching. She was also active in Hadassah.
