On December 24, 2017, Stuart Floam of Florida, beloved husband of Sharlene Floam (Nee Solomon); devoted father of Joseph and Andrew Floam, Kathy Floam Greenspan and Mindy Floam Lockner; beloved grandfather of Jacob, Caroline, Emily, Harrison, Michael and Natalie Floam, Keith and Kelly Lockner and of great-grandchildren Aubree Reynolds and Mikaela Lockner; dear brother of Steve Randall (Floam); also survived by loving sister-in-law Abbey Solomon Ransdell, nephew Mark Hoffman and great-nephew Jordan Hoffman and other family and friends; loving son of the late Jerome (Sonny) and Lillian Floam (nee Schilling). Born in Baltimore on July 22, 1937, Stuart was a free spirit whose passions were family, friends, the United States Air Force, photography and travel. He was proud to serve as a Loadmaster for C-124 Globemaster aircraft in the U. S. Air Force in the mid-1950s and to be stationed at Kadena Air Base and Naha Air Base, both in Okinawa, Japan. Once he returned home, he built a career as a leading professional photographer in the Baltimore area for more than 40 years. He and his wife enjoyed traveling to the far corners of the world including India, Asia, Africa and Europe photographing all of their adventures. A graveside service was held on December 28, 2017, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. Please omit flowers.
