On Jan. 19, Virginia Cohen Gordon peacefully from old age at her Roland Park Place apartment. She was a professional potter. She served as president of the Potters Guild of Baltimore, taught students from her home studio and visited schools and hospitals where she demonstrated and taught pottery as therapy. She was predeceased by parents; brother Lloyd Watner; husbands E. Lee Kaufman, Herbert L. Cohen and David P. Gordon; and a significant other Henry Berney. She is survived by children Roger Watner Cohen (Karen Galland) of Rye, N.Y., Wendy Watner Cohen of Sparks, Deborah Watner Cohen of Sparks and Andrew Bernard Cohen (Dawn Cohen) of Baltimore. She is also survived by grandchildren Caroline Leah Cohen of Baltimore, Alexander Cohen (Sara Rubin) of New Orleans, La., Alison Serour (Yehuda Serour) of Safed, Israel, Eva McCausland (Brian Schroeder) of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Milo McCausland (Emily Rogers) of Chevy Chase. She has seven great-grandchildren, Mae Cohen, Leo Cohen, Michael Serour, David Serour, Miriam Serour, Moshe Serour and Ella Claire McCausland.
