On December 6, 2018, Mildred “Mickey” Lazarus Grant, 90, of Bethesda, Maryland, beloved mother, grandmother and wife to the late Howard Grant and a lifelong resident of the Washington. D.C. area and previously of Palm Beach, Florida. Mickey is survived by her children Steven Grant, of Columbia, Stacy Grant of Olney and Stephanie Gold (Richard) of Owings Mills and her adoring grandchildren, Sara Drew Grant, Hannah Grant, Alexandra Gold, Michael Gold, Julie Sostman and Debra Sostman. Born at D.C.’s Columbia Women’s Hospital, Mickey was the only child of Esther (Klivitzky) and David Lazarus. She attended the University of Miami and was married to Howard Grant for 43 years before his passing in 2000. A member of the Indian Springs Country Club for more than 40 years, she was an outstanding tennis player, golfer and avid mah jongg player. She will be greatly missed by a loving circle of family and friends.

Funeral services and interment will be held at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, Virginia, on Sunday, December 9, at noon. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Jewish Social Services Agency or the charity of your choice. In mourning at the late residence, Bethesda, Maryland, Sunday only, continuing at 32 Golden Grass Court, Owings Mills, MD 21117, Monday only.
