Harold “Hal” Dorin, of Cockeysville, passed away peacefully on July 25 after a day surrounded by family. He lived a full 96 years, and he was deeply loved. Hal was born in 1930 in New York City to the late Arthur Dorin and Florence Lane. He lived a long and meaningful life filled with service and deep love for his family. Hal grew up between New York and Los Angeles. He graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School in LA and then Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his service as an officer in the United States Navy, Hal participated in the atomic testing program in the Pacific.
