On April 28, Harriet Rankin (née Cohen) of Baltimore at 87. She is survived by daughter Marla (Benn); sister Elinor; granddaughters Claire, Beth (Nick); great-granddaughters Annie, Maisie, Maya and Hannah; and niece Brooke (Stu). She is predeceased by husband Melvin; sister Lois; parents Anne and Benjamin; nephew Aubrey; and niece Pamela. She lived in multiple cities around the country and always made lifelong friends. She lived the last years of her life near her family in Birmingham, Ala. She cherished every moment with her granddaughters and great-granddaughters who lovingly called her “De” and “Great De.” She is now reunited with Melvin, the love of her life.
