On December 17, Harry Finkelstein of Baltimore at 101. He is survived by companion Elizabeth Goodman; children Bob (Alba), Marcie (Greg Musselman), Rick (Ann) and Laura (Chris) Bergan; grandchildren Rachel Bergan, Jonathan Bergan, Mara Finkelstein and Lauren Finkelstein; and brother Marty Finck. Harry was predeceased by wife Rachel; parents Isadore and Minnie Finkelstein; and sister Helen Rappel.
He was born in the Bronx, N.Y., on April 7, 1921. A graduate of Brooklyn College, Harry earned an MBA from City College of New York and an M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University. He served in the Army during World War II and was awarded the Philippine Liberation Medal. Until his death, he was completing New York Times crossword puzzles and publishing articles on a variety of subjects.
