On Feb. 15, Regina Swicar Herschtal (née Lipshitz) of Boca Raton, Fla., at 96. She is survived by daughter Betty S. (Sander) Weissman, Arnold (Nicole) Herschtal and Maurice (Fleur) Herschtal; grandchildren Marc (Jennifer) Sumers, Tracy (Craig) Maurer, Karine Herschtal, Alexandra Herschtal, Jonathan Herschtal and Melusine Herschtal; great-grandchildren Andrew and Samantha Maurer and Cameron and Connor Sumers; and sister-in-law Lola Lewin. She was predeceased by husbands Morris Swicar and Jacob Herschtal; siblings Emil Lipshitz and Eva Biedak; and parents Bleuma and Herschel Lipshitz. She was a survivor, and not just of the Holocaust.
