Close to 500 attendees joined in the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces 2021 Baltimore Chapter Gala at Martin’s West on Dec. 6. The event was held in honor of IDF soldiers who took part in Operation Guardian of the Walls, the Israeli response to rocket fire from Gaza in the spring.
The event also honored Myra Fox and her husband Bill Fox, a national FIDF board member. Other attendees included Steven Weil, FIDF CEO, and Major General (Res.) Nadav Padan, FIDF’s national director.
Three active IDF soldiers also attended the event, including a commander of the Iron Dome system and a Druze soldier who served in the Home Front Command.
