Beth Israel Congregation held a celebration for the installation of Cantor Benjamin Matis on Sunday, May 7, which was attended by over 250 guests. Cantors Elizabeth Sammash and Arthur Giglio, as well as soloist Emma Gorin, joined Matis for a concert performance. The installation ceremony was led by Scott Gensler, Beth Israel’s president.
