On Thursday, University of Maryland, Baltimore County’s Erickson School of Aging Stud-ies held a gallery opening and reception featuring artwork by talented artists from the Edward A. Myerberg Center. Located on Falstaff Road in Baltimore, the Myerberg Center is a community hub for adults over the age of 55 and offers more than 100 different activities and courses, including several types of art classes.
“It’s an amazing opportunity for the Myerberg’s talented artists, who attend weekly art classes at the center, to showcase their work,” said Myerberg Center Director Nicole Barr. “It’s also a won-derful chance for students to be inspired by adults 55-plus, who continue to explore their creative spirit.”
The exhibit will be on display for the rest of the fall semester.
