JCC Block Party: Sunny Family Fun

A good time was had by all at the 6th Annual JCC Community Block Party held June 2 at the Owings Mills JCC. More than 3,500 turned out for the day-long celebration of Jewish community, according to JCC senior director of JKids Baltimore, Melissa Seltzer, also director of the Community Block Party. “It was a beautiful day,” she said. “We really focused this year on making it a family festival. On creating memories within the family unit, but also creating new memories and meeting new people.” The day’s biggest hit? Interactive entertainment, including a virtual reality roller coaster, an inflatable corn maze, a rock wall and a special area just for kids – the “baby block.”
