It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Ira Rosensweig. Jeff was a beloved husband to Fran, devoted father to Matthew and Mitchell (Anna) and adored Poppy to Jack and June. He was a cherished brother to Allan (Gloria) and Randi (Tina), a nonblood brother to Amy and a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his dear parents, Eunice and Lennert. Jeff passed away peacefully on April 26 leaving behind a space that will never be filled and a lifetime of memories to be shared and never forgotten. Born 66 years ago on February 23 in Baltimore, Jeff lived a life rooted on what mattered most- family, friendship, kindness and humor. He was the salt of the earth. Those that knew him called him the calm to Fran’s storm. They were soul mates for just under 44 years. Jeff was easy going, whatever Fran wanted – moving first to Florida and then to California to be close to Jack and June. A mensch like no other, he adored his boys and his precious grandchildren. He will be forever missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
