Joel Glazer, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, at the age of 83.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rachel Z. Glazer (nee Ber); his loving children, Hillel (Jeanne) Glazer, and Dr. Sharon Glazer (Tamas Karpati); his devoted brothers, David (El) Glazer, Moses (Cookie) Glazer; his cherished grandchildren, Liron, Jacob, Mali, Alexander, Mira, and Sarah; his dear uncle and aunt, Mordechai (Ziporah) Glazer, and Sima (the late Yehuda) Glazer; and his cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

He was predeceased by his loving parents, Abraham and Rose Glazer.

Joel Glazer lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family and community.

He was a man who gave everything he had for the good of others; whether through his work as a talented aerospace engineer, his leadership as Greengate Association president, or simply as a loving presence in the lives of those who knew him.

While carrying the weight of a difficult past, Joel never let hardship define him. He earned two master’s degrees while working full time, never once complaining, always focused on providing and supporting those he loved. His legacy is one of selflessness, resilience, and enduring love.
