On Aug. 30, Doris Kutner (née Boren) of Silver Spring at 97. She is survived by children Susan (Michael) Feldman, Steven (Deborah) Kutner and Sandy (Ken) Cederbaum; grandchildren Brett (Jody) Feldman, Matthew (Marissa) Feldman, Sarah (Brian) Brooks, Bradley Kutner (Marcus Roberts), Jeffrey Cederbaum and Alison (Harris) Kaplan; and great-grandchildren Noah, Olivia, Hannah and Hayden Kaplan. She was predeceased by husband Dr. Stanley Kutner. She grew up in Pelham, N.Y. She met her husband at summer camp. She received her B.A. from New York University and her M.S. in Education from Hofstra University. She enjoyed playing bridge, but love for her family and friends was most important.
