Lynette Cohen (nee Davis), of Newberry, Florida, formerly of Reisterstown, passed away on May 17 at the age of 72. She is survived by her beloved son, David Cohen (Fan Zhang); devoted sister, Dr. Jeanette (Dr. Robert) Parris; dear friends, Jerry and Sandy Newman; and David’s father, Howard Cohen. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Dr. David Stanley and Louise Davis. Lynette lived a life defined by compassion, service, and an unwavering commitment to helping others. Born and raised in the Chevy Chase area of Maryland, she was the beloved daughter of Dr. David Stanley Davis and Louise Davis. From an early age, Lynette’s caring nature and strong sense of purpose guided the path of her life. She graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School before attending American University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and later Loyola University Maryland, where she received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
