Margot Zaks Levin, of Denton, passed away peacefully on May 23, at the age of 82. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (John) LaCorte, Rachel Levin, and Jason Levin; sisters, Linsey Zaks-Walker (Neil) and Nancy (Neal) Morgenroth; grandchildren, Gabrielle Levin, Brenna Levin, Ryan LaCorte, and Max LaCorte; and dear daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Missy Robinson and Elton McEneaney. Margot was predeceased by her husband, William Levin, and her parents, Helen and Jacob Zaks. Born and raised in Queens, New York, Margot grew up surrounded by a large and loving extended family. She carried those strong family values throughout her life and passed them on to her children and grandchildren. Margot dedicated her career to nursing and healthcare, a profession she cared deeply about. Early in her career, she loved working in labor and delivery, helping welcome new life into the world. Later, she focused on healthcare quality management, always committed to ensuring compassionate and effective patient care. Nothing brought Margot more joy than being a mother and grandmother. She treasured time with her family, especially watching her grandchildren grow, and was known for her warmth, humor, and unforgettable “bad dad jokes.”
