Mary E. Fizer, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, August 24, at the age of 81. She is survived by her loving friends, Dr. Betsy Fay, Barbara and Dr. Jerome Ginsberg, Robin, Bob and Geoffrey Carton.
She was predeceased by her dear friend, Anna Weiss Carton. Mary was always searching for knowledge by reading books and watching educational television programs. Her faith in god was constant despite her history of abuse and mistreatment.
Mary was a survivor and part of her story was told in a November 4, 2002 article in the Baltimore Sun titled “Turning the Page on a Harsh Past.”. She had a love for this country and often spoke of the Constitution.
