Marlene Malek and Ellen Sigal presented Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan with the inaugural Marlene A. Malek Public Service Award from the Friends of Cancer Research. Hogan was diagnosed with and treated for cancer in the past, and announced the Maryland Cancer Moonshot Initiative to better research and treat the disease.
