Quality Education

As the parents of three students who attended the Day School at Baltimore Hebrew, we wanted to take a moment to let your readers know how appreciative we are concerning the education our children received. All children have their own unique needs. After three years at the Day School, we sent our youngest child to Krieger Schechter, which was the appropriate move for him. At the time, our other two children remained at the Day School and received a very good education. After seven years at the Day School, they went on to Pikesville High School and did very well. Now finishing up their first year at college, one at University of Maryland, Baltimore County and one at Goucher, we expect they will be on the dean’s list at their respective schools.

The JT article on the Day School did not give a wide enough parents’ perspective on the Day School at Baltimore Hebrew. Every school has its ‘issues,’ but to badmouth the school at this point serves no purpose. We were certainly pleased with the education that our children received at the school. The success that they and numerous other graduates have had is a testament to the quality of education, nurturing atmosphere and excellent teachers who gave 100 percent.
