In celebration of Purim, members of the Chizuk Amuno Congregation Sisterhood honored the Talmudic figure Queen Vashti, who has been embraced as a feminist figure by some for her refusal of her husband’s demands. Sisterhood members participated in yoga, enjoyed a wine tasting and took part in an Art With a Heart project.
