On Oct. 14, Ronald Neal Lachman of Woodstock at 89. He is survived by children Ginger Freint and Lee (Betty) Lachman; brother-in-law Lawrence (Marie) Zawatzky; grandchildren Liza Freint, Louis Lachman (Amy Kroll) and Jesse (Claire) Lachman; and great-grandson Archer Lachman. He was predeceased by wife Marcia Lachman (née Zawatzky); sister Sharon Lachman; son-in-law Mitchell Freint; and parents Charlotte and Herbert Lachman. He was a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather who cared deeply for his family and worked tirelessly to provide the best in life for his family. He was also a pioneer by opening one of the first businesses, The Butcher Shop, in Columbia.
