On May 3, Melvin Norman Rubin of Baltimore at 87. He is survived by wife Phyllis Rubin (née Sindler); children Neil (Ronit) Rubin and Stephanie (James) Charanis; sister Sandra (Steven) Snyder; and grandchildren Leah Rubin, Ari Rubin, Maia Charanis, Daniel Charanis and Sophia Charanis. He was predeceased by brother Richard (Myrna) Rubin and parents Howard and Anna Rubin.
