On Aug. 17, Ruth Davidson Cohen at 96. She is survived by children William Cohen and Marlyn (Jonathan) Safren; grandchildren Lowell Safren, David Safren, Anna Safren, Madeline (Zachary) Sebastian and Abigail Cohen; great-grandchildren Molly and Nora Sebastian; brother Daniel Davidson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband Joel Cohen; parents Abraham Davidson and Molly Davidson; and siblings Sidney Davidson, Dorothy Dolleck, Frances Davidson and William Davidson.
Ruth’s primary calling was as a mother and grandmother. She placed family above all else and was always there for her children and grandchildren. She was passionate about politics, nurtured long-lasting relationships with her close friends and enjoyed playing games.
Ruth’s legacy of love, dedication, perseverance and kindness will forever be remembered by her family, friends and all who were fortunate to know her.
