On January 4, Ruth Hagen Alper of Rockville at 90. She is survived by her children, Ronald (Lisa) Alper and Lynn (David) Stander; her brother, Max (Barbara) Hagen; grandchildren Marissa Alper, Michael Alper, Rebecca (Brian) Scarpelli and Jeffrey Stander; and great-grandchildren Daniel Scarpelli and Allison Scarpelli. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Clifford D. Alper, Ph.D.
