On Aug. 23, Suzanne Wells Sabath (1937-2021). Born in New Haven, Conn., to Louis Wells and Shirley Lindenberg Wells, she was an alumna of Harvard (Radcliffe) College and earned a master’s degree at Yale University. While raising three small children she attended Boston University Law School and was a practicing attorney for many years in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn. She was a classical pianist, an avid reader and active in working toward women’s equal rights and reproductive freedom. She is survived by daughters Natasha Shabat, Joanna Sabath and Rabbi Rachel (Rabbi Ofer) Sabath Beit-Halachmi and three grandchildren. She is also survived by older brothers Dr. Herb (Beth) Wells and Dr. Allan (Raquel) Wells.
