On Aug. 20, Lester Milton Salamon of Arnold at 78. He is survived by wife Lynda Salamon (née Brown); children Noah Benjamin (Eugenia) Salamon and Matthew William (Nicole) Salamon; siblings Myron (Sonya) Salamon and Renee Green; and grandchildren Vanessa, Zoe, Zev, Cas, Benjamin and Dominick Salamon. He was predeceased by parents Victor and Helen Salamon. Beloved father, grandfather and pioneer in the field of nonprofit research. Preeminent scholar, author and editor of numerous works, many of which have been translated in multiple languages and used by governments and universities all around the world. His work not only serves to describe the field, but provides theoretical insights that will inspire future generations.
