On Sept. 9, Michael Frank Schaffer of Westminster at 30. He is survived by mother Deann Horton; fiancée-in-love Jordan Cashmyer; daughter Lyla Nalani Schaffer; siblings Stephanie (Larry) Ordet, Rebecca (Steven) Siegel, Brandon (Nick) Stephens-Seckler and Jessie Schaffer; grandmothers Myrna Carmichael Horton and Sylvia “C-Me” Schaffer; mother Deann Horton; and many more friends and family. He was predeceased by his father, a man whom he adored and revered, Robert Schaffer. He was an extremely loyal and devoted father, partner, son, brother and friend, and everyone he loved knew he loved them. He had a profound passion for his work and career as a chef, both at home cooking for family as well as at work in world-class fine dining restaurants. He was also a spiritual man, and he believed in the virtue of loving people unconditionally.
