Shirley I. Snyder (nee Shapiro), of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, Apr. 30, at the age of 98.
She is survived by her devoted sons, Howard L. (Judith A.) Snyder, Andrew M. (Cheryl D.) Snyder, James M. (Jan T.) Snyder; loving grandchildren, David (Jennifer) Snyder, Sophie (Robert) Farley, Benjamin Snyder, Rebecca (Daniel) Gleason, Julie (Brett) Cohen, Nathan Snyder (Nicole Bonnin), Samuel Snyder (Shannon Boyle), Sean (Lindsay) Snyder, Brandon Snyder (Ruby Steinberg); precious great-grandchildren, Nicholas Snyder, Madison Snyder, Walter Farley, Joel Farley, Daniel Farley, Benjamin Cohen, Jacob Cohen, and Grant Gleason; many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Edwin J. Snyder, loving siblings, Jerome Shapiro, Frank Shapiro, Harry Shapiro, Samuel Shapiro, Milton Shapiro, Sidney Shapiro and Lillian Shapiro; and devoted parents, Sophie and Abraham Shapiro. Shirley loved golfing, cooking, traveling, entertaining, reading, and was a classically trained vocalist.
