SHUMIN

On May 11, Alla Shumin (née Matov) of Baltimore at 68. She is survived by sister Larisa (Michael) Matov; niece Polina (Michael) Damiano and their children Maks, Nathan and Shayne Damiano; and nephew Alex (Annie) Matov and their children Aidan and Raquel Matov. She was predeceased by husband Slava Shumin and parents Rakhil and Moisey Matov. She was a beloved daughter, wife, sister, aunt and great-aunt. For over 20 years she devoted herself to the nurturing and educating of many children in our community through her daycare center. She loved traveling the world and spending quality time with her family and friends.
