Friendship Circle of Baltimore hosted a special menorah lighting and Chanukah party featuring a community art menorah, an event that was heavily geared towards Baltimore’s Jewish special needs community. Rabbi Eli and Chana Solomon, directors of the Friendship Circle, led and organized the Chanukah event in partnership with Imadi and Yachad, both nonprofit organizations with a focus on supporting children with disabilities. The emphasis of the menorah lighting and program activities was on families in the disabilities community. With a turnout of more than 200 individuals, the gathering aimed to provide a welcoming space for everyone to come together, join in and actively participate in Chanukah celebrations.
