Stanley Goden passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. He was just two days shy of his 98th birthday. He was born on April 28, 1928, in Baltimore, Maryland. From an early age, he took on a strong sense of responsibility for those around him, a trait that would define him throughout his life. He had a natural curiosity and a love of learning, especially chemistry, which led him to a career as a pharmacist. In 1951, Stanley married Zelda, the love of his life. Together they built a warm, loving home and raised their beloved children, Eric and Sherry. They shared 32 years of marriage before Zelda passed away far too soon, a loss Stanley carried with quiet strength. He was fortunate to find love again with Geri. Their marriage brought him another 32 years of companionship, laughter, and partnership. Stanley will be remembered for his intelligence, his humor, and his unwavering devotion to his family and friends. Stanley is survived by his loving children, Eric (Jill) Goden and Sherry Kaufman, and Geri’s daughters, Rochelle (Robert) Ziker and Marlene (Chuck) Petterson; beloved grandchildren, Jeremy Kaufman, Joanna (Steve) Sirkis, Zack (Tina) Goden, and Jobi Goden; and adored great-grandchildren, Cooper, Ben, and Jackson Goden. He was predeceased by his devoted wives, Zelda Goden (nee Gudis) and Geraldine Goden (nee Brill); his cherished son-in-law, Barry Kaufman; his caring sister, Phyllis Rubin; and his dear parents, William and Fannie Goden.
