On February 8, 2019, Walter Straus, beloved husband of the late Marion Straus (nee Stern); cherished father of Pamela (Dr. Jeffrey) Platt, Judy (Judge Michael) Finifter and Alan (Lynn) Straus; devoted brother of Margot (Paul) Terle; dear son of the late Adolf and Betty Straus; loving grandfather of Michael (Channy) Platt, David (Rabbi Ariel) Platt, Dr. Kevin (Dr. Sarah) Platt, Joshua (Ilana) Finifter, Jeremy Finifter (fiancée, Hannah Marcin), Samantha Straus and Jason Straus; adoring great-grandfather of Elisheva, Devorah, Naphtali, Michal and Hailey Platt; also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other loving family and many dear friends.
